STRUTHERS, Ohio - A woman convicted in a case involving a man having sex with a 14-year-old child will be released from prison early.

A bailiff at Judge John Durkin's Court tells 21 News 40-year-old a motion for judicial release for Rachel Hoover was granted Wednesday, April 30. Hoover will now spend the next 18 months on probation and must complete substance abuse treatment.

According to court records, Hoover pled guilty to amended charges of gross sexual imposition and endangering children back in March of 2024. She was originally sentenced to two years in prison in May of 2024.

With judicial release being granted that sentence was cut nearly in half.

Court records show Hutchko pled guilty to one count of unlawful sexual contact with a minor and was sentenced to three-and-a-half years in prison followed by five years of probation in May of 2024.
