AUSTINTOWN A man with active warrants out of Washington, D.C. and who is accused of threatening an employee at an Austintown casino on Sunday has been arrested.

According to a police report, the incident happened around 6:30 Sunday morning when a man, identified as Al-Faud Mohommid, spoke with an employee at the window of the Hollywood Gaming Casino, saying that someone in Sportsbook made him lose $15,000 on a horse race.

Mohommid allegedly told the employee that a horse was withdrawn from the race, but that horse did wind up racing and won. 

Police say Mohommid said he and his family have ties to organized crime and that President Donald Trump was his godfather. Mohommid allegedly threatened to shoot the Sportsbook employee due to the lost bet.

According to the report, Mohommid was escorted off the property by security. 

Shortly after the incident at the casino, police attempted to stop a vehicle believed to belong to Mohommid on an unrelated traffic stop. Police say Mohommid did not stop, leading to a chase.

Police say during the chase, Mohommid put the barrel of what is believed to be a hunting rifle out the window. Police were not able to stop the vehicle according to the report.

Police say the Mohommid continued to hold the hunting rifle out the window until the officer ended the chase, when he put it back.

Mahoning County jail records show Mohommid has since been arrested as of Monday, August 11. According to a press release, he was arrested at a medical facility in Liberty Township.

Court records show Mohommid is charged with aggravated menacing, intimidation and failure to comply with the signal or order of a police officer.

No arraignment date has been set at this time.

According to the report, Mohommid had warrants out of Washington, D.C. for terroistic threats. The exact nature of these alleged threats is unclear.
