YOUNGSTOWN A Youngstown woman pled guilty in August in connection with a child's drowning death is now being sued.

According to court records, Adrienne Hudson, alongside Albert Boykin, Linda Scott and 10 John/Jane Does are named as defendants in a wrongful death lawsuit filed in Mahoning County Court September 25.

Hudson pled guilty to felony charges of involuntary manslaughter and endangering children back in August. She is scheduled to be sentenced on October 3.

Hudson was charged in connection with the drowning death of two-year-old Londyn Cayson. Police said Cayson was playing with another child in the yard when Hudson was watching her.

Police said Hudson left to talk with a relative for about five minutes, when she noticed Cayson was missing. She was later found to have fallen in a swimming pool in the yard. Cayson later died in the hospital.

In the weeks following Hudson's guilty plea, Cayson's estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit demanding damages in excess of $25,000 along with court costs and any other remedies deemed appropriate.

The suit can be read in its entirety below.
