AUSTINTOWN - Drive-thru coffee chain 7-Brew Coffee is looking to open a new location in the Mahoning Valley in Austintown.

Austintown Zoning Inspector Darren Crivelli tells 21 News the Austintown Zoning Commission recommended a zoning change on a property at the corner of Mahoning Avenue and Howard Avenue.

Crivelli says 7-Brew is looking to open a new 500-square-foot location at the intersection, and part of where the drive-thru would be is residential property.

The Zoning Commission recommended that that section be rezoned to commercial property and that there be a 30-foot buffer from the commercial to residential property lines.

This proposal is now in the hands of the Austintown Township Trustees, who will have the final say as to whether or not the property is rezoned. Trustees are expected to vote on this sometime in January.

According to a letter to Crivelli, should the rezoning process go smoothly, the current site will be demolished in April of 2026, and the store will open sometime in June of 2026.

Hours are projected to be 5:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. every day.

7-Brew is in the process of opening multiple locations in the Mahoning Valley, with the company's website listing two more locations as "coming soon."

One of those will be located at 2421 East State Street in Salem, and the other located at 1997 Niles-Cortland Road in Howland Township. The Salem location is set to open Monday, December 22, and the Howland location is set to open the following Monday, December 29.

These locations will be 7-Brew's first in the Mahoning Valley.
