WARREN - The second of the two defendants in a bestiality case in the City of Warren learned her fate Wednesday afternoon.

Shawna Mayfield was sentenced to 30 years to life in prison on charges of rape, sexual conduct with an animal, pandering sexually-oriented matter involving a minor and endangering children.

If released, she must register as a Tier 3 sex offender. 

The charges stem from conduct that occurred between 2020 and 2025 and involved three different victims between the ages of six and 10 years old at the time.

Shawna's charges are connected to one of those victims, while her husband, Justin Mayfield's charges are connected to the other two. 

Specifically, Shawna created and uploaded multiple videos showing child sexual abuse material. Police said she also had sex with the family dog.

Shawna's husband, Justin, was sentenced last week to 40 years to life in prison.
