Ribbon-cutting date set for Austintown Falcon Indoor Facility

AUSTINTOWN - After nearly four years of planning and construction, the Austintown Falcon Indoor Facility is set to officially open its doors.
In celebration of the facility's grand opening, a ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place.
The ceremony will be held at the indoor facility on Monday, February 2, at 11:00 a.m.
The school's board of education members as well as administrators will be in attendance.
The 42,000 square-foot complex will serve more than 4,000 students 365 days a year, as a weather-independent space for athletics, the marching band, and other student programs. It will feature a turf field, batting cages, a three-lane track, a weight room, a wrestling space and a golf simulator.
The Austintown Falcon Indoor Facility is located on the north side of Austintown High School, which is located at 4560 Falcon Drive.
