Fire severely damages home in Austintown
It is still unknown what caused the fire.

AUSTINTOWN - First responders were on scene of a residential fire in Austintown Wednesday evening.
The fire happened at a two-story house on New Road around 10:00 p.m.
Austintown and Canfield Fire Departments were both on scene battling the blaze.
Firefighters tell 21 News severe fire and smoke damage was done to the first floor of the home. They also said the fire engines were thankfully supplied with enough water to put out the fire because the nearby fire hydrants were frozen due to cold temperatures.
There was one person inside the home, but was able to escape safely with no injuries.
It is still unknown what caused the fire.
