Warren woman sentenced to probation for role in vape store robbery

WARREN - A Warren woman involved in a robbery at a vape store will not be spending any time behind bars.
According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 19-year-old Alivia Spitzer was sentenced on Tuesday, March 3, to three years of probation on a third-degree robbery charge.
As part of her punishment, Spitzer must write an apology letter to the victims in the case, and must abide by a curfew.
The charge stems from a robbery at the Vapor Kings vape shop on Elm Road back in July of 2025. Police say a juvenile in a black hooded sweatshirt and ski mask went into the store and demanded items from the cashier at gunpoint.
The juvenile robber got away with two jars of hemp flower and a carton of cigars.
Prosecutors say Spitzer, as well as her co-defendant Kelly Sexton, drove the juvenile to and from the store. Sexton was originally set to be sentenced alongside Spitzer, but his sentencing date has since been moved to March 12.
