WARREN - The case of a man and woman from Warren who are accused of endangering a child is now in the hands of a Trumbull County grand jury.

According to Warren Municipal Court records, the case of 24-year-old Richard Plant Jr. and 19-year-old Joanna Harvey has been bound over to the Trumbull County Court of Common Pleas.

It is there that prosecutors will present the case to a grand jury, which must decide if there is enough evidence to indict the two. In the meantime, both Plant and Harvey remain in the Trumbull County Jail, with bonds set at $100,000.

Both Plant and Harvey are charged with a third-degree felony count of endangering children, stemming from an alleged incident that occurred on February 28, 2026, according to court records.

Police say a child had two brain hemorrhages and several bruises on her body, but the police report did not provide details on how the child got those injuries.
