Austintown community hits the court to help teacher battling cancer
Money raised at the event went toward Chelsea Kachelries, a 4th-grade teacher in Austintown, to benefit her family during ongoing treatments.

AUSTINTOWN An Austintown school hosted a staff versus student basketball game on Monday, with proceeds from the event going to a teacher during her battle with cancer.
The Austintown High School gymnasium event pitted the Austintown Intermediate School 5th-grade girls' and boys' teams against their teachers during "Hoop for Hope."
Money raised at the event went toward Chelsea Kachelries, a 4th-grade teacher in Austintown, to benefit her family during ongoing treatments.
In between the games, guests were able to take part in a basket raffle and enjoy music from the Austintown Fitch High School Rockband.
