12th annual War Against Breast Cancer Vendor and Raffle auctions at the Trumbull Fairgrounds in Corltand is offering folks two days of incredible shopping with the possibility of winning items you set your sights on.
 
"There are all kinds of vendors, all kinds of raffles, 50-50, and there are food trucks here. The community and the business community have come out to support Amanda," Delores Yakubek said. 
 
Amanda Sharps Clark from Southington worked as a nurse at Trumbull Memorial for 17 years. She has two sons and a husband.
 
The family-friendly event kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month. 
 
The goal is to raise $15,000 for this year's War Against Breast Cancer recipient Amanda Sharps-Martin of Southington.
 
she was a nurse at Trumbull Memorial for 17 years, who was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, which has since spread to her bones or Stage four. 
 
"Her life is about helping others and everyone is out here today to support her and her family, and help them with their medical bills," Tina Ryan added.
 
The Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Mammography Van was there, specialists giving women the opportunity to get a mammogram on Saturday. 
 
Some families return year after year to help support the War against Breast Cancer. 
 
"We know people that passed from this, so we always support it. I always will. My wife had it," Doug McIntyre said.
 
"Please so self exams, mammograms and please follow your doctors. If they think anything is suspicious please follow through,"
Patti McIntyre added.
An Archery contest is scheduled for Sunday at 12:30 p.m. could win the person who hit's a bullseye free steak for a year from Texas Roadhouse in Niles.  To take part one must use the bow and arrows provided by ODNR.
 
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources archery trailer is free to try during times outside the contest time. 
 
The War Against Cancer events continue tomorrow from 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds in Cortland.
