SALEM, Ohio - A former Salem teacher is banned from teaching in Ohio.
According to the Ohio Department of Education web site, Brian D'Angelo has agreed to a five year suspension of his teaching license.
The site says D'Angelo engaged in conduct unbecoming a licensed educator by allegedly failing to "maintain appropriate student-teacher boundaries."
The agreement also states the D'Angelo is prohibited from being involved in any educational activities or act as a coach of any school organizations during his suspension period.
D'Angelo must report any limitation or suspension to any future employers that require certification through the Ohio Board of Education.
