The humid air mass that found a home over the region at the end of the work week will linger into the weekend. Showers will visit at times on Saturday and there is a chance for spotty thunderstorms in the afternoon hours.

While Sunday is unlikely to be as active as Saturday, we still expect a couple of showers to pop up during the midday and afternoon hours. Temperatures will remain a couple of degrees below average.

High pressure will bring very nice weather early next week. Sunshine will be accompanied by low humidity on Monday. Tuesday looks partly sunny. We still expect a very warm pattern top develop late next week into the weekend.
