All lanes of South Avenue open after hit-and-run crash
Youngstown Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that shut down part of South Avenue early Thursday.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - Youngstown Police are investigating a hit-and-run accident that shut down part of South Avenue early Thursday.
Police were called just after midnight to the accident at the corner of South Avenue and East Boston Avenue.
Officers say the driver of an SUV wasn't hurt, but the vehicle that smashed into it was nowhere to be found.
The crash also caused a small fuel leak that forced police to shut down the left lane of South Avenue in that area.
The road was reopened after firefighters were able to clean up the area.
