The weekend will get off to a muggy start on Saturday but a cold front will slowly cross the region in the afternoon, resulting in somewhat drier air returning to The Valley by day's end. A passing shower or two will be possible until the front crosses. The chance for rain will be nearly zero by the end of the afternoon.

Sunday looks like a fine summer day with a good deal of sun and highs in the lower 80s. Pleasant, warm weather will continue into Monday. On Tuesday, a strong cold front will advance eastward across Ohio. Showers and thunderstorms are likely and there will be a possibility of severe weather as well.

The air behind the front will be the coolest we have seen in a while. Very comfortable weather is in the forecast for Wednesday and Thursday.
