Data has been submitted to Columbus regarding assistance for the hundreds of flooding victims in areas like Boardman and Struthers.
The county director of emergency management said teams from the agency have completed three days of flood damage assessments.
"We had positive contacts with residents on 70 streets in the Boardman, Poland, and Struthers areas. From that, it's about 400 houses that we've assessed," said EMA Director Dennis O'Hara.
A decision is expected this week on whether the county meets the criteria for disaster assistance from the local flooding.
