A two-car crash in Union Township sends three people to the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

The crash happened around 1 p.m. when a car did not stop at the intersection of Harbor Edinburg Road and Old Youngstown Road, crashing into a Chevy Blazer.

Officials say the impact forced the Blazer to go airborne.

First responders had to use the Jaws of Life to get Kathleen O'Neil, the driver who officials say went through the stop sign, out of her car.

O'Neil was then airlifted to St. Elizabeth's and her passenger was transported to Jameson Hospital.

The driver of the Blazer was also transported to Jameson Hospital for his injuries.

Multiple departments assisted in the crash and officials say O'Neil will be charged for a stop sign violation.
