An arson investigation is underway after a vacant house caught fire two times Sunday afternoon.

Firefighters first battled the blaze on the corner of Hillman and Garfield Street just before 5 pm.

Officials said they put out the fire and cleared the scene, but 20 minutes later, the structure was back up in flames.

Battalion Fire Chief John O'Neill said he doesn't believe this was enough time for the fire to rekindle.

The department believes the fire was suspicious and continues to investigate.
