Second murder charge in two months filed against Youngstown man
Twenty-three-year-old Lavontae Knight was indicted by a Mahoning County Grand Jury on one charge of aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery, attempted possession of cocaine, and having weapons under disability.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man is facing charges in a second murder case.
Twenty-three-year-old Lavontae Knight was indicted by a Mahoning County Grand Jury on one charge of aggravated murder, murder, aggravated robbery, attempted possession of cocaine, and having weapons under disability.
Prosecutors say the charges stem from a shooting investigation from October 2018.
Another suspect, 29-year-old George Gutierres was indicted in February in the case on charges of involuntary manslaughter, attempted possession of cocaine, and possessing criminal tools.
Gutierres and Knight are now accused in the shooting death of 26-year-old Joshua Donatelli on October 25th.
Donatelli was shot at his home on the 400 block of Imperial Street around 3:30 pm.
This case marks the second time this year that Knight has been accused of murder.
He was previously charged with aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, felonious assault, and kidnapping in a different investigation.
Knight has been accused of kidnapping and shooting two victims.
One of the victims was 37-year-old Trevice Harris who was murdered and found shot in a car at the Shell gas station on Market Street.
Knight was indicted on two counts of Aggravated Murder, two counts of Attempted Aggravated Murder, two counts of Aggravated Robbery, two counts of kidnapping, one count of felonious assault and two counts of having weapons under disability.
In addition, at the time of his arrest, Knight was also wanted on weapon offenses out of Trumbull and Mahoning Counties.
