The Warren Family Mission was able to serve thousands of Easter meals to community members on Friday.

According to officials from the Mission, they served 3,040 meals from noon until 4 p.m.

Of those, more than 1,200 meals were delivered to those who were elderly, handicapped or SHUT-IN.

This year's eat-in meals consisted of ham, mostaccioli with meat sauce, potato salad, three bean salad, coleslaw, baked beans, pickles and cheese tray, rolls, desserts, pop and coffee.

The children that attended the meal received an Easter basket filled with goodies and also one ticket to enter a drawing for a chance to win 1 of 10 bikes.
