Wednesday will unfold much like Tuesday did with cool temperatures early followed by a seasonably warm afternoon. Sunshine will mix with some fair-weather high clouds. The clouds will thicken and lower during the evening hours. We expect showers to return to the area overnight.

Plan on a soggy day Thursday. Showers will visit frequently and we can't rule out a thunderstorm. Additionally, a gusty wind and falling afternoon temperatures will make it feel quite chilly for mid-June.

Friday looks much better. Sunshine will send temperatures into the lower 70s. Saturday is likely to start dry but a spotty shower or thunderstorm will be a possibility during the second half of the day. Showers and storms will remain possible for Father's Day Sunday.
