Thursday will feature showers and potentially stronger thunderstorms in the early afternoon. The threat for severe weather will diminish after 6 p.m. 

The main impacts will be damaging winds hail and flash flooding. High temperatures Thursday will reach the upper 80s, and it will remain muggy.

Friday will kick off four dry days. Friday will also be less humid and feature a high temperature in the upper 70s.

The heat and humidity make a comeback starting early next week with back to back days in the 90s.
