Austintown crash sends four people to the hospital

A crash between four vehicles in Austintown sent car parts flying and sent four people to the hospital.

AUSTINTOWN TWP., Ohio - A crash between four vehicles in Austintown sent car parts flying and sent four people to the hospital.

The crash happened just before noon Wednesday on Kirk Road and Bainbridge Avenue.

Police said one vehicle was traveling eastbound and struck three cars traveling westbound.

The extent of injuries for the parties involved is unknown at this time.

Police said they did have to use the jaws of life on one of the vehicles.

Police are investigating.
