Mahoning County Public Health has announced where people in Mahoning County can get their flu shot next week.

According to the release, two flu shot clinics will be held this week.

The first clinic will be held Sunday from noon until 3 p.m. at Angels for Animals in Canfield. The second clinic of the week will be held Thursday, November 7, at the Mahoning County Board of Health in Austintown.

The organization says anyone six months and older should get a flu shot each season.

The CDC says that anyone 65 years of age or older and children between six months and two years of age are at a higher risk of getting the flu.

All clinics take walk-ins, and no appointment is necessary.

Anyone attending the clinics should bring their insurance cards, driver's license, and Medicaid or Medicare cards so the vaccine can be billed.
