Niles police have arrested the woman accused of assaulting and taking money from an elderly person. 

That woman, 50-year-old Penny L. Crabtree, had two felony robbery warrants for her arrest. 

Niles Police say Crabtree was arrested Sunday.

Police say the act occurred after she had panhandled the victim for money.

NPD said Crabtree is known to panhandle for money in shopping areas and is often on a bike.
