The executive director of a non-profit for troubled youth turns himself in for allegedly exposing his genitals to a 15-year-old girl.

Thirty-seven-year-old Sonny Lee Parker faces numerous felony charges, including corruption of a minor and promoting prostitution of a minor.

Sharon police were able to convince Parker, through his attorney, to turn himself in on Monday morning.

Parker initially appeared handcuffed and shackled and escorted by Sharon Police Detectives before Mercer County District Court Judge Dennis Songer.

Parker of Service Avenue in Sharon faces a total of four felony charges and one misdemeanor, and each felony carries up to seven years in prison and a $15,000 fine if convicted.

District Judge Songer allowed Parker to be released with a $200,000 unsecured bond after he was processed at the jail but reminded him if he violates the terms, he would be arrested.

He is not allowed to be alone with any underage females.

Captain Travis Martwinski tells 21 News that Parker was arrested for, "Exposing himself to a minor child and manipulating himself."

As Parker and his attorney left the district judge's office, 21 News asked if he would like to comment. He said, "No. Not at this time."

It was on January 17th, 2020, when a young girl who was babysitting Parker's children told authorities that she received text messages from Parker asking if she liked "nice things." He also asked if she would like to make more money other than just babysitting. Parker told the girl he was afraid to tell her how she could make the extra money and that he was drunk, this is all according to the "affidavit of probable cause" by Sharon police.

According to detectives, Parker asked the alleged victim to switch over to Snapchat. Parker asked her to "watch him" to make the extra money. The teen felt she knew what Parker was implying. Parker sent her a Snap and told her to open it. The 15-year-old did not open the Snap message because she was allegedly afraid of what it would be. But she did manage to screenshot it.

The alleged victim then described to police what happened a few days later when she was babysitting for Parker on January 21, 2020.

According to the victim, Parker again texted the 15-year-old and asked if she wanted to make "extra money," according to the affidavit. Also, again asking if she likes "nice things."

This time the alleged victim says Parker asked her to "watch" him, and he would buy her shoes.

The victim says she became uncomfortable and contacted someone to pick her up.

While waiting for her ride, the victim says Parker allegedly came down the stairs, asked her to turn around, opened his black bathrobe, and allegedly began pleasuring himself in front of the teen.
She tells police she froze for a minute then quickly exited the house.

Parker will be back in court in early February for a preliminary hearing.
