Trash day is usually not a day someone looks forward, but for the Wade's it means much more.

"Gives a big wave to him and a big smile to him. Every Tuesday it's the highlight of our day," says Andrew Wade of Boardman.

Because every Tuesday isn't just trash day on Red Fox Court in Boardman.

"He always puts on a song and dance for our two sons," adds Wade.

It's a chance for Mr. Anthony, as the Wade's call him, to put a smile on someone's face.

"I pull up in front of the house, I have my bucket down. I dump the bucket and blow the air horn as I'm pulling off," says Anthony Nuby, an employee with Ohio Valley Waste.

Mr. Anthony's job doesn't allow him to talk to many customers since the COVID-19 outbreak began but he knows he can count on 2 smiling faces each Tuesday he pulls on to Red Fox Court.

"He just stands out there every morning. It doesn't matter how cold it is or how early I'm coming or how late I'm coming, whatever time he's in the front door waiting on me. Just to make him happy and put a smile on his face," adds Nuby.

Tuesday after Tuesday Mr. Anthony puts a smile on Brantley and Beckett's face, and while they sit in the window, toy garbage truck in hand, Mr. Anthony heads to his next stop knowing the impression he made on two boys on Red Fox Court.
