"If you follow me this way ma'am"

It was the first lunch rush for many restaurants across the Valley and patrons came out to dine in for the first time in two months.

"Oh it's wonderful. It's, we usually eat out a couple two to three times a week since we're both retired and I'm not used to cooking so much so this is great," says Kathy Mihaly of Struthers.

Most of the patrons we spoke with that were out for lunch today felt safe restaurants based on the precautions they are taking.

"It's nice because they're taking a lot of provisions because they have a lot of screens up, you have the opportunity to wear a mask when you come in. All the servers and people are wearing masks so they're taking a lot of precautions so you feel safe," says one patron at Mocha House in Warren.

At Pour House in Boardman we found people that had no problem sitting inside and grabbing some lunch others though, others though prefer to sit on the patio for now and were a little more reluctant to sit inside for the first time since the stay at home order ended.

"As far as going in we are a little more reluctant to do that right now. Everything is set up in distance here and the server he has a mask on when he speaks with us and he keeps his distance as well so we feel comfortable," says Norma Rogers of Salem.
