Police: Search of New Castle home provides no sign of missing teen

NEW CASTLE, Pa. - The police search of a New Castle home where hundreds of people gathered late Tuesday turned up no clues to help them find a teen who has been reported as missing.
However, police say they'll use a K-9 tracking dog to search the area near El Rio Beach where the car of 19-year-old Amari Wise was found.
In addition to searching a home on Adams Street where a crowd had gathered, officers also searched a garage and car that was parked nearby.
According to New Castle Police Chief Robert Salem, the group wanted answers about the investigation into the disappearance of Wise.
Police say Wise was reported missing on June 6 and the department had searched for him with choppers and canines previously. Salem says there have been multiple rumors about the case since this weekend.
The homeowner gave consent for officers to be let in the home to see if his body could possibly be inside.
New Castle Police say they have secured some search warrants including for the garage behind the home and a car that was parked Adams Street.
21 News learned Wednesday the car police searched did not belong to Wise but was the car he was driving when he disappeared over the weekend.
Volunteer rescue crews searched the El Rio Beach area for possible information but did not find any information on Wise. Friends and family continued to search the area Wednesday.
