NILES, Ohio - Last Thursday, Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine announced more entertainment venues have the green light to open in the state, starting today June 10. See full list of establishments here.

DeWine released business health guidelines including social distancing, allowing face coverings, employee symptom reports and sanitation.

Extreme Air Trampoline Park in Niles is among those allowed to open and did so today.

"Our main concern is keeping the place sanitized," Co-owner of the establishment, Jesse MacGregor said. "We have one individual scheduled just to completely walk around and sanitize any areas touched by any guests coming into the facility."

MacGregor says other changes made include:

Establishment cleaned twice daily

Employee temperature checks & shift changes

Social distancing

Max capacity reduced from 500 to 150 people

Closed concession

Closed gaming areas

He said kids must stay six feet apart with one person per trampoline, and they are adding extra employees to enforce that.

"We've went to the extent of repainting all the walls in the building and changing to more cleanable and wipeable surfaces."

He said face masks will not be mandatory for employees or guests.

"Face masks are not required by guests coming in, but please feel free if you would like to wear one."

He also owns the Boardman Extreme Air Trampoline Park location, in conjunction with Deep Freeze Ice Arena. He says these establishments, like many others, are not yet ready.

"We chose the Niles location to open first because it's a smaller facility than Boardman, and we want to make sure we can keep the guests safe."

He said the Boardman facility will open up in two weeks and the Ice Arena is set to open July 16.
