Columbiana County to have Junior Fair Market project this year

COLUMBIANA COUNTY, Ohio - People who say they were hurt the most by the cancellation of this year's Columbiana County fair got some good news Wednesday night.
The fair board voted to go ahead with this summer's Junior Fair Market project.
That will allow the young people of the area who were preparing animals to still be able to showcase their projects.
The board says they are still working on the details for the junior fair which will be held in the first week of August.
The Junior Fair Market will not have any rides or grandstand entertainment but board members say there will still be an auction and camping available.
Planning is still in the preliminary stages and more details will be available in the coming weeks.
The Columbiana County Fair was canceled on June 4 due to coronavirus concerns.
