Suspect removed from home on Aberdeen Ave. following police stand-off
A portion of Aberdeen Avenue on Youngstown's south side was blocked off due to a heavy police presence in the area Friday afternoon.

YOUNGSTOWN - A portion of Aberdeen Avenue on Youngstown's south side was blocked off due to a heavy police presence in the area Friday afternoon.
Police say they were called to the area after reports of a man with a gun possibly threatening surrounding neighbors.
Brandon Turjonis, 32, is charged with aggravated menacing.
The SWAT and Crisis Response Team were also called to the site.
Police and SWAT were surrounding the home for nearly three hours.
Police say when they first arrived Trujonis was holding a rifle and ran from police into the house.
Police removed Turjonis, wearing only his underwear, around 2 p.m.
Police say negotiators were able to get him to come out of the house peacefully
