WARREN, Ohio - BRITE Energy Innovators announced it's partnership with TechGROWTH Ohio in efforts to expand it's reach to support new energy entrepreneurs throughout the State of Ohio.

TechGROWTH connects early-stage companies in healthcare, advanced energy and environment, digital interactive media and others sectors with growth tools and sources of capital. TechGROWTH is located at Ohio's University's Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs.

"We are very pleased to partner with BRITE to bring additional resources and assistance to our clients and portfolio companies," said Jane New, TechGROWTH Manager of Investments and New Business Development. "This region has a strong background of innovation related to energy and the environment and BRITE's focus in this arena will be a great addition to the resources we can provide."

In a press release, BRITE's team staff says their company shares a passion with TechGROWTH for launching technology startups.

According to the press release, BRITE has "assisted nearly 300 New Energy tech startups with mentorship, funding assistance and more than $135 million in investor connections" with much focus in the greater Cleveland-Akron-Youngstown markets.

"This partnership provides critical geographic inroads for us," said Rick Stockburger, BRITE CEO. "We have a growing offering of services to provide startups to overcome commercialization obstacles, but we need a strong partner in that historically rich energy region to help us move forward. We have that in TechGROWTH!"
