Four-year-old flown to hospital after rescue from Mercer fire

FINDLEY TWP., Pa. - A child pulled from a burning Mercer County trailer has been flown to a Pittsburgh hospital for treatment.
Two people got out of their mobile home on Clintonville Road in Findley Township just before 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. However, one of the adults had to break a bedroom window to reach inside and pull a four-year-old boy to safety.
Mercer East End Fire Chief William Finley Jr. tells 21 News that a woman and the child were taken to the hospital in Grove City.
There is no word on their conditions, but the child was taken by helicopter to a hospital in Pittsburgh.
The state fire marshal is on the scene looking for the cause of the fire at the trailer, which the fire chief describes as a total loss.
Four fire departments were called out to battle the blaze.
