Multiple traffic signals removed in various Youngstown locations
As part of the SMART2 Project, the City of Youngstown conducted a traffic signal warrant analysis at various intersections in the city's central business district. The city is temporarily removing traffic signals in the various locations.

YOUNGSTOWN - As part of the SMART2 Network Improvement Project, the City of Youngstown conducted a traffic signal warrant analysis at various intersections in the city's central business district.
As a result, the city is temporarily removing traffic signals in the following locations:
West Front Street and South Phelps Street
East Front Street and Walnut Street
West Front Street and Marshall Street
Wick Avenue and Wood Street
Wick Avenue and Lincoln Avenue
Wick Avenue and University Plaza
Alternative traffic control devices will be in place.
Work should be completed in the next 30 days.
