Southern Park Mall celebrates fall with festive seasonal events

The Fall season has kicked off already and The Southern Park Mall wants to celebrate with the community by hosting some fall events.
Those events are Community Day on October 24, from 1 p.m- 6 p.m, and a Candy Crawl on October 29 from 5 p.m to 7 p.m.
Community Day will feature entertaining activities such as live music by Sophisticated Soul, superhero appearances, pony rides, pumpkin painting, caricature drawings, and food trucks.
Admission is free, and guests are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or hygiene product like toothpaste or body wash to help the Salvation Army of the Mahoning Valley. Through events like Fall Community Day, Southern Park Mall continues to embrace its commitment to giving back to the Valley and the people it serves.
The Candy Crawl will offer a fun, safe place for local families to trick-or-treat. Southern Park Mall will host a Drive-thru trick-or-treat where guests can enjoy appearances from their favorite superheroes that will be handing out candy and treats. Families are to remain in their vehicles to ensure social distancing.
If you want to attend this event, you must register online at Eventbrite.com and only one ticket is needed per car.
"With all of the unique challenges that we have faced this year, Southern Park Mall is excited to provide
an opportunity to come together to enjoy the fall season through Community Day and Candy Crawl"
said Brian Gabbert, General Manager.
"We are passionate about serving as a gathering space for our
community, and now more than ever, we are proud to be a place where families, friends, and the
the community can safely connect with each other."
