Free Thanksgiving meals available at Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - In the spirit of giving during the coronavirus pandemic, the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley will serve prepared Thanksgiving meals today.
Hundreds of meals will be served continuously from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the dining hall of the Rescue Mission's Resident Building at 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Due to Governor DeWine's social gathering guidelines, the public will only be allowed to carry out food from noon until 7 p.m.
Meals served to current Rescue Mission residents will remain the same with social distancing seating arrangements.
The meals willed be served at no charge.
The Thanksgiving menu includes turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, yams, green beans and pie for dessert.
"We are so thankful to Our Lord for His protection and provision to us at the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, and we are so grateful for our donors who by their generosity have allowed us to bless both our in-house guests as well as our public guests," said Director of Food Services Mike Byers.
Free parking is available in the lot across from the resident building.
