Several people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving a school bus and another vehicle in Brookfield Township. 

It happened on Route 82 and Bedford Road around 1:45 p.m.

Troopers on the scene said that the driver of a van, Tyler C. Schadt, 32, of Greenville, Pennsylvania was eastbound, ran a red light and slammed into a school bus being driven by Sarah A. Miller, 44, of Southington.

The van then went into a ditch, according to reports from dispatchers. 

Kristen M. Caldwell, 32, of Mineral Ridge was a passenger on the bus, as well as a 15-year-old. 

The bus driver and passengers were all taken to the hospital with minor injuries. 

Schadt was treated at the scene. 

The bus is said to be from Community Busing. 

The road is open.

Alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the crash.

Schadt was charged with Failure to Stop at a Red Traffic Light.
