Water shutoff planned Friday for East Liverpool neighborhood
The water shutdown could last 5-8 hours.

EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio - Businesses and homes in some East Liverpool should prepare for no, or low water pressure this Friday.
City officials have announced plans for a scheduled water service shut down for the final tie-in for the 4th Street project.
The shutdown is scheduled for Friday, February 19 starting at 7:00 am. Officials estimate that the shutdown will last between 5 and 8 hours.
Since there is a possibility of inclement weather on Thursday, the shutdown could be delayed until next week.
The following areas will be affected by a loss of pressure or loss of water:
- The Review
- Clock Tower
- Mary Patterson Bldg.
- Library
- Masonic Temple
- KSU
- YMCA
- Riverview Towers
- Red Cross
- Walnut St South of East 5th St
- East 4th St from Broadway to Elm St
Possible low pressure:
- Mason Color
- Parsons Coal
- Wharf
- Grain Terminal River Road
A boil order will not be issued.
