The Pennsylvania Department of Health is reporting 3,413 additional cases of COVID-19, with a total for the state of 902,650 confirmed cases and probable cases Wednesday, Feb. 17. There were 33,639 COVID tests performed Tuesday in the state. Statewide percent positivity for the week of February 5 – February 11 stood at 8.0 percent.

There have been 23,319 virus-related deaths so far in the state. 

There are 2,356 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. Of that number, 491 patients are in the intensive care unit with COVID-19.

In the state, 1,313,538 people have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 436,411 people have received both doses required.

Mercer County is reporting a total of 7,868 cases of the virus since the pandemic began, with 237 virus-related deaths. The number of cases per 100,000 is 7,190.4.
There are 24 long-term health care facilities in the county currently with cases, with 707 cases in those facilities, 225 employees and 106 deaths. 

Mercer County has vaccinated 10,434 people with the first shot, and 3,803 have received the second dose.

Lawrence County is reporting 5,849 cases total and 178 virus-related deaths. The number of cases per 100,000 in the county is 6,840.
There are 17 long-term health care facilities in the county currently with cases, with 487 cases in those facilities, 189 employees and 77 deaths.

Lawrence County has vaccinated 6,046 people with one dose, and 2,218 have received two doses.
