Turnpike patrol says 'drowsy driver' runs into cruiser in Lordstown
The crash happened as the trooper was waiting for a reckless driver.

LORDSTOWN, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway says one of its cruisers was damaged after being struck by a car driven by a drowsy driver in Lordstown.
Responding to a report of a reckless driver traveling east on the turnpike, the trooper waited in crossover near exit 216 just before 1:30 a.m.
According to the patrol, the car the trooper was looking for veered into the OSP cruiser.
Trooper received minor injuries. The driver of the car wasn’t injured.
Troopers are still investigating.
