WARREN, Ohio - The fiancee of a Trumbull County Sheriff's deputy who passed away suddenly in February is in trouble with the law.

Stephanie Bock, 51, was indicted by a Trumbull County Grand Jury last week after a court filing detailed that she allegedly "devised a scheme to defraud or obtain property or services" of $150,000 or more.

Bock was charged with attempted aggravated theft, tampering with records, unauthorized use of property and forgery.

The alleged crime happened February 19, three days after the death of her fiancee, Deputy Anthony Diehl, Sr.

The indictment also explained Bock allegedly did "falsify, destroy, remove, conceal, alter, deface or mutilate" evidence of data or records that is "kept by or belongs to a local, state or federal government entity."

The allegation is that Bock accessed her late fiancee's retirement account and changed the beneficiary information.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges on Monday.

21 News was also informed that Bock was convicted in 1999 for leaving her children at daycare paid for by the government while she was supposed to be at work, but was found not to be working.
