SLIPPERY ROCK TWP., Pa. - At least three people were taken to the hospital after a crash in Slippery Rock Township Monday morning.

The crash happened around 10 a.m. in front of Sheetz at the intersection of Route 422 and Route 388.

A tractor-trailer slammed into the back of a sedan, causing another rear-end collision with a car in front of it.

Two people were trapped in the sedan for a short time.

At least one person was flown to the hospital, and two others were taken by ambulance.

The truck driver was checked by officials at the scene but refused to be taken to the hospital.

The road was closed while police reconstructed the accident.
