YOUNGSTOWN - Police are investigating after a car collided with a Youngstown School bus on Thursday.

A rescue squad from the Youngstown Fire Department was sent to Market Street and Breaden Street at around 8:30 a.m.

The car received heavy front-end damage.

Investigators say the bus turned in front of a car that struck the side of the bus. The driver of the car had a friend take him to the hospital for treatment of a minor head injury.

There were six students on the bus, none of whom were injured.

The children were transferred to another bus and taken to school.
