SANDUSKY, Ohio - Cedar Point will not be requiring masks for parkgoers who have been fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

The Sandusky amusement park says face coverings are recommended but not required indoors or outdoors for guests who are fully vaccinated.

According to Cedar Point, all guests age 10 and older who are not fully vaccinated must wear face coverings while indoors unless eating and drinking. Face coverings for guests who are not fully vaccinated are recommended but not required outdoors unless it's not possible to maintain six feet of social distancing.

Cedar Point says there will be no limits on ride capacity but social distancing remains in place while waiting in line. Face coverings are recommended while riding rides.

A park spokesperson told 3News that Cedar Point will not be asking people to give proof they've been vaccinated.

Reservations are still needed for Cedar Point and Cedar Point Shores Waterpark. Both season pass holders and single-day ticket holders will need reservations.
