DIV. II OHSAA Regional Track & Field results

It was a cold, windy and wet Saturday at Austintown Fitch High School, site of the OHSAA DIV. II Regional Track & Field meets.
Participants who finished in the top four of each event qualify for the state meets.
Lakeview's Charles Pawlosky finished 2nd in the boys shot put (54-02.50), earning eight points.
In the girls discuss throw, Salem's Kyla Jamison took third place (120-06). Elizabeth Shontz of Salem contributed three points with a 6th place finish in the event.
On the track, Poland's Jackie Grisdale took 1st place in the 800 Meter run with a time of 2:14.30.
In the Boys 800 Meter Run, Girard's Ricky Marsico placed 2nd (1:55.77), South Range's Michael Hvizdos placed 3rd (1:56.32), and Poland's Andrew Biggs placed 4th (1:56.72).
Girard's Sieasia Triplett finished third with a time of 12.66 in the 100 Meter dash while Lakeview's Danaysha Mauzy finished 5th with a time of 13.09.
West Branch took 4th place as a team in the Girls 4x200 Meter Relay behind participants Lauren Gossett, Sophia Gregory, Kennedy Berger and Anna Lippiatt with a time of 1:45.59.
In the girls 1600 Meter Run, Salem's Carly Hall finished at 4th place with a time of 5:06.58 to qualify for state, contributing five points to the team score for that event.
Girard and Lakeview took home top-four finishes in the Girls 4x100 Meter Relays.
For Girard, Malina Serrano, Sieasia Triplett, Mia Malito and Seyhan Dede took the 3rd spot with a time of 51.33.
For Lakeview, Eliza Farr, Stasia Hall, Kylie Matteotti and Danaysha Mauzy captured the 4th team spot.
In the ladies 200 Meter Dash, Mia Musolino came in 3rd place with a time of 26.07 while Girard's Sieasia Triplett qualified in 4th with a time of 26.24.
In the 400 Meter Dash for the ladies, West Branch's Sophia Gregory finished 3rd (58.67) while Salem's Rylee Hutton placed 4th (58.76).
