NEW CASTLE, Pa. -  The Lawrence County Coroner and the New Castle Fire Department are investigating a deadly house fire.

Investigators tell 21 News that the burned body of a man was found seated in a chair inside a home on the 400 block of  Lutton Street early Tuesday.

Although the room was not heavily damaged, the coroner’s preliminary investigation indicates that the victim had been smoking while on oxygen.

The name of the victim has not yet been released.
