Summer decides to stick around for at least another week or two
The overall pattern during the next week to 10 days is quiet and warm.

The warmth makes a return Sunday with partial sunshine and highs near 85.
It will turn muggy next week as temps hold in the low to mid 80s.
Wednesday and Thursday will bring our next chance for rain; showers and storms will be possible both days. If the front slows down enough as it has in recent model trends, we'll have to include the chance for a shower on Friday as well.
Aside from that, the overall 7-10 day pattern is warm.
