Mercer woman claims being assaulted by husband after discovering Tinder account
State Police in Mercer County arrested a man accused of assaulting his wife who discovered he had a secret online dating account.
According to a report, the man and woman, both 41-years-old argued for most of the day last week after the wife confronted her husband after learning that he had a Tinder account.
The argument, which took place along East Main Street Extension in Pine Township, escalated when the husband allegedly slapped his wife, pulled her hair, shoved her to the floor, and placed his fist on her throat so she couldn’t breathe.
The woman told police that her husband stopped the alleged assault after she went limp.
After the wife went to the police to tell them what had happened, officers found the husband later than day and took him to the Mercer County Jail.
Police have not released the names of those involved and have yet to file charges.
