Mineral Ridge man indicted on 36 sex charges against minors, adults
A Mineral Ridge man was indicted on Thursday on 36 sexual charges, many of which involving minors.
Robert Jensen (41) is facing charges including one count of Illegal Use of Minor or Impaired Person in Nudity Oriented Material or Performance, 30 counts of Pandering Obscenity Involving a Minor or Impaired Person and five counts of Voyeurism.
A police report from Austintown Police Department dated May, 28 2021 indicates that 32 files of sexually explicit images of minors were uploaded to Google Drive and intercepted by Google who sent them to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC).
According to the report, the files were linked to Jensen via IP address tracing.
According to the indictment, all of Jensen's Pandering Obscenity charges date back to July 2, 2021.
Jensen's Voyeurism charges date back several years to 2014 in which he's accused of trespassing or otherwise surreptitiously invading the privacy of minors, as well as videotaping, photographing or recording victims in a state of nudity or through their clothes for the purpose of sexual arousal.
Victims ranged in age from 14 to 68 and counts dating between 2014 and July of 2021.
